Load cell, hydraulic or active?

A load cell brake measures how hard you press, not how far – so you modulate by pressure, just like in a real car. Hydraulic systems such as Asetek Invicta or Simagic P1000 and P2000 add cylinders for a particularly realistic pedal feel. Active pedals such as the Simucube ActivePedal generate the feel with a motor and can be tuned per car.
