NETGEAR GS105 5-Port Gigabit Switch, unmanaged

The NETGEAR GS105 is a compact 5-port Gigabit switch in a metal housing. At your sim rig it connects your PC, wheelbase software, dash displays, console or streaming PC to the network over a single LAN cable – stable and at full speed, with no Wi-Fi dropouts in the middle of a race.

Plug in and go

The GS105 is an unmanaged switch: no software, no configuration, no maintenance. Connect the power supply, plug in the cables – all five ports work straight away at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and automatically detect the speed of the connected devices.

Full bandwidth on every port

The non-blocking switching architecture transfers data on all five Gigabit ports simultaneously at full line rate. Large downloads of sims and content packs won't slow down your connection to the race server. Jumbo frames and IEEE 802.1p prioritisation are supported.

Silent and efficient

The switch is fanless and therefore completely silent – ideal in the sim room, where you want to hear the engine and tyres. Thanks to Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) it reduces power consumption on ports with little or no traffic; maximum power draw is 2.7 W.

Robust and flexible mounting

The metal housing is built for a long service life. The GS105 sits on a desk or can be fixed to a wall or your rig with the included wall-mount kit. NETGEAR provides a limited lifetime hardware warranty.
