The VRS DirectForce® DFP15 Wheelbase & R295 G2 Steering Wheel Bundle is a fully matched direct drive setup for GT and formula. The DFP15 delivers 15 Nm of peak torque, and the R295 G2 connects wirelessly through the quick release. Unbox, mount, clip on the wheel – done.

Wheelbase: 15 Nm direct drive in a compact housing

The DFP15 uses a 5-pole servo motor with no noticeable cogging and a 21-bit encoder. Every bump, every kerb and the transition from grip to slide arrive finely resolved and with very low latency. The aluminium housing measures just 160 × 130 × 130 mm and can be front- or bottom-mounted. With 360 Hz support, the base is also ready for iRacing.

Wheel: R295 G2 for GT and formula

With a diameter of 295 mm, the R295 G2 suits GT3, touring cars and formula cars. Ten freely assignable RGB buttons, four thumb encoders, three backlit rotary encoders and two 7-way switches are within reach without changing your grip. Add to that two magnetic shifter paddles and two clutch paddles made of cast aluminium. The 5 mm aluminium front plate keeps the wheel stiff, and the redesigned TPE grips give you a secure hold even in long stints.

Connected without cables

The NRG-style quick release is integrated into the DFP15 and transmits the wheel's data through a slip ring. No coiled cable, no batteries, no wireless link. The wheel locks in without play and is ready to go immediately. If you later switch to a different wheelbase, use the R295 G2's USB port with the supplied magnetic cable.

Telemetry and software

You configure the R295 G2's 24 RGB LEDs – including ten shift lights and four side proximity lights – via SimHub. Force feedback, steering angle and firmware of the DFP15 are set in the VRS Config Tool.
