Sabelt SIM 4-Point Harness V2

The Sabelt SIM 4-point harness in its V2 version is the revised edition of Sabelt's sim racing harness. Unlike its predecessor, the mounting hardware is a fixed part of the package – there is no version without fixing parts any more.

Webbing from motorsport

Sabelt has been building restraint systems for motorsport since the 1960s. The 2 inch webbing and the adjusters come off the same production line as the brand's racing harnesses. For sim use only the FIA homologation is dropped, which would serve no purpose without a car anyway.

Aluminium quick-release buckle

The central buckle is aluminium and opens via a turn lever. All four straps release at once – after a stint you get out in one movement instead of loosening four belts individually.

Adjustment at shoulders and legs

Shoulder and lap belts adjust separately through quick adjusters. If several drivers share the rig, the setting can be changed in seconds without remounting the harness.

Support on motion systems

On a static rig a harness is mostly about looks and seating posture. The moment a motion platform starts working it becomes functional: your body stays with the seat instead of following the movement. That is where a real racing harness separates itself from a dummy.

Fitting to your cockpit

Fixing parts and screws are included. The harness mounts to cockpits built on common aluminium profiles; all you need is an Allen key.
