Asetek Closed D Leather Rim

The Asetek Closed D Leather Rim is the rim for anyone who wants more room for their legs without giving up a proper GT steering feel. Flattened at the bottom like many modern GT and touring cars, with perforated leather on the grips and available in black or orange.

Note: The rim mounts to an Asetek La Prima™ or Forte® button box. The button box is not included and is available separately.

More legroom thanks to the Closed D shape

The flattened bottom frees up space for your thighs, especially in a low seating position. Grip position and leverage stay the same as on a round 330 mm rim, so ergonomics don't suffer.

Genuine leather, perforated on the grips

The rim is wrapped in genuine leather and stitched by hand. The leather is perforated in the grip zones so you keep a secure hold even during long stints. The centre marker always shows you where straight ahead is.

As every rim is handmade, slight variations in stitching, leather tension and corner finishing may occur.

Two colours

The Black version is finished entirely in black leather with a red centre marker – understated and timeless. The Orange version combines black leather with orange grips and an orange centre marker, adding a clear accent to your cockpit. Technically, both versions are identical.

Swapped in minutes, no adapter needed

The rim fits all Asetek La Prima™ and Forte® button boxes without an adapter. With the supplied screws and 2.5 mm Allen key it is mounted in a few minutes. That way you can switch rims to suit the racing series while the button box stays in place.
