The Asetek Racing™ Load Cell Handbrake doesn't measure how far you pull the lever, but how hard. That is exactly what separates a controlled slide from a spin: a handbrake that only knows pulled and not pulled gives you nothing in between.

200 kg load cell with 16-bit resolution

The load cell takes up to 200 kg and is read with 16-bit resolution. The result is a fine input, and above all a repeatable one: the same hand force gives the same value every time, lap after lap.

Two-stage resistance you can tune

Behind the lever sits a two-stage system of elastomers and springs. You use it to set the point at which the lever stiffens up, which gives you the progressive feel of a hydraulic handbrake rather than a linear resistance.

Analogue or digital

In analogue mode the handbrake works as an axis across its full range, which is the right choice for rally and drifting. For titles that only read a button press, you switch to digital mode in the Asetek RaceHub™ software. Asetek has tested the mechanism over 1,000,000 brake cycles.

Fits any rig, left or right

Mounting is via four M6 T-nuts, on either side of the seat. The bolt pattern is 80 mm wide and the length varies between 30 and 69 mm. That matches the Dual Mode Shifter exactly, so both can sit side by side on the same bracket.

USB-C, no wheelbase required

The handbrake connects straight to your PC over USB-C and needs no Asetek wheelbase.
