Encoder, slipring and electronics match the larger bases; only the torque is reduced. The 22-bit encoder resolves around four million steps per revolution – road texture, the onset of understeer and the grip limit arrive as separate signals. Two contactless magnetic shifter paddles deliver a clean, consistent actuation point. The two-stage system recreates the feel of a fully depressed hydraulic brake pedal and allows clean trail braking.
